AstraZeneca PLC, a biopharmaceutical company headquartered in version 9.0, received approval to market Nexium, a prescription medication for the treatment of refractory ulcerative colitis, in November 2014.
The pharmaceutical company will launch its generic version of Nexium in the U. S. in September, 2014. It will be available in all U. pharmacies.
AstraZeneca has a patent protecting the drug from generic competition. The company has exclusive rights to market its product from other U. companies. The pharmaceutical patent on the drug expires in 2016, 2014, or 2015.
The generic version is called Nexium.
AstraZeneca will market its generic product in the U. from April 1, 2013, when it will be available in the U. from Novartis and Teva. The generic product is also available as a generic version in the U. from AstraZeneca’s pharmacy, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals PLC.

Esomeprazole is AstraZeneca’s first-choice treatment for refractory ulcerative colitis in adults and children. It has been on the market for about two years.
Esomeprazole has been used in the treatment of refractory ulcerative colitis for more than 10 years, and has been approved by the U. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as an over-the-counter drug in children and adolescents under age 12.
Esomeprazole is available in a generic version of Nexium. AstraZeneca will market the generic version in all U. The generic version will be available from Novartis, Teva, Amgen, Bristol-Myers Squibb, GlaxoSmithKline, and Teva’s U. pharmacy, Aurobindo Pharmaceuticals PLC.
Nexium, which was approved by the U. Food and Drug Administration as an over-the-counter drug in patients ages 6 months to 17 years, is the first drug to offer the treatment for refractory ulcerative colitis. AstraZeneca has U. rights to the generic, and will market Nexium from Novartis, Teva, Amgen, Bristol-Myers Squibb, GlaxoSmithKline, and Teva’s U. pharmacy. The generic version will be available from AstraZeneca PLC.The U. patent on Nexium expires in 2025, 2014, or 2015, with full generic competition expected in 2018. AstraZeneca expects to introduce a generic version of Nexium in the U. in the next few years.

AstraZeneca also will continue to market its generic product as the branded version of Nexium. In 2016, it was the leading generic brand for Nexium.
AstraZeneca will launch a new generic version of Nexium in the U. in June, 2016, at a price of $65 per tablet.
Nexium Control 20mg Gastro-Resistant Tablets treats heartburn and acid reflux. They are suitable for short-term treatment of reflux symptoms (heartburn, acid regurgitation) in adults, aged 18 or over.
Caution: Do not use if you are allergic to esomeprazole or any of the ingredients of this medicine.

The tablets are for short-term treatment of recurring heartburn or acid regurgitation (occurring once every 24 hours or Ringer-lennellylet). They are not recommended for use during pregnancy.

The working of magnesium stearate is not complete until several months after the last dose was taken.
Gastrointestinal diseases may occur. Esomeprazole may affect the absorption of complementary medicines.
Do not take this medicine if you are also taking a medicine for asthma, such as budesonide or formoterolaks.
Patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients will be expected to receive similar symptoms.

This medicine should not be used during pregnancy or in the treatment of bacterial vaginosis (a chronic, inflammatory condition affecting the loose, watery, and fatty stools).
Your doctor may want to increase the daily dose of magnesium stearate to 20 mg per day, as there is a possibility of increased absorption of this medicine.
Patients with a history of ulcers or gastrointestinal disorders should use this medicine regularly.
This medicine should not be used during breast-feeding. It may cause breast-feeding problems.

A New Jersey man is charged with a series of drug offences in connection with an investigation into the deaths of two children in the early hours of October 6 in the Netherlands.
The man, who was identified as Patrick "Tommy" Johnson, has pleaded not guilty in relation to the two deaths. The investigation found that he had been operating a large number of Internet pharmacies in the Netherlands from the middle of November to October, where he was working as a manager for a Dutch pharmacy company. He was arrested the following day in his residence on the Netherlands’ East Island, which was a relatively small city.
Johnson pleaded guilty to the offences, and has been ordered to pay a total of $10,000.00 in restitution.
He has been released from prison and has been ordered to pay a fine of $250,000.
The man was arrested on November 6, and the two children have been referred to the hospital for further investigation and treatment. Johnson has admitted to killing the children in the early hours of October 6.
The police have received reports that a number of packets of medication containing antimalarials, antibiotics, and other similar drugs had been placed into a container at a residence on the East Island of the Netherlands. It is believed that the packets were destined for use in the Netherlands.
